POEM: Withstand

Withstand
By Jason Norton

The Wolf howls help,
life has made me go.
So, I sit and want,
wanting to be normal again.
Blood pumps and cringles in my veins
share the pain, be apart.
Someone doesn’t care,
wait your turn the yearning will end.

So, put it away for another day,
when will the time come.
I won the Trophy of agony,
but this monster wants more.
