On Wednesday, October 18th, The Gallery at Mercer held an opening reception for Yonia Fain: Refugee Modernism - a solo exhibition with works from Yiddish poet and painter Yonia Fain.

The exhibit, curated by Mercer’s Professor Fiks, will be on display at the gallery from now until December 12th with special events on October 25th (Curator’s Talk and Literary Event) and November 15th (Film Screening and Fundraiser).
